To better service our customers, Sarni
Flexographic has instituted the following service and repair
parts policy. The purpose of this policy is to establish
the basic procedures and guidlines for
- determining the nature of the service
call
- scheduling of the required service
- ordering the necessary
replacement/repair parts
- defining the direct and indirect labor
rates plus additional service charges
- coordinating on travel arrangements
When requesting a service visit, please
call our Customer Service Representative at the main office
(203) 452-9990; indicating the nature and urgency of the service
call, i.e. emergency (shut down), critical (stoppage is
eminent), normal service, survey for future work or press
upgrade. Sarni Flexographic will do their best to schedule
service based upon the urgency of the service availability of
their personnel.
When applicable, please provide a company
purchase order for scheduled service. an additional
purchase order will be required to order and ship
repair/replacement parts in a timely manner.
Service is classified as either direct or
indirect. Direct Labor is defined as actual time spent by
Sarni Flexographic and/or their subcontractors at the customer's
facility doing the required service repair and/or additional
customer requests and is rated on an hourly basis in 15-minute
increments. Indirect labor is defined as actual time or
agreed upon standard times spent for non-service activities,
i.e. travel to and from customer's site (portal to portal), and
is rated on an hourly basis.
Service Labor is subject to overtime and weekend rates where and
when applicable.
Sarni Flexographic Labor rates are as
follows:
Direct

$Actual airfare, hotel, and meal expenses will be
charged* |
For Sarni Flexographic to provide the highest quality
service, while keeping costs to a minimum, our service travel
policy is for travel expenses be payable upon completion of
service.
*Customers are requested to make the appropriate arrangements
when possible for airfare, lodging, and auto rental to utilize
any of their corporate advantages.
