PLatform) UV System has been designed, developed and
manufactured bt GEW especially for use with narrow-web printing

1. Unique COLD REFLECTOR with dual flow
air cooling, utilising glass dichroic material, which minimises
heat while maximising UV output.
2. A mechanism-free COLD SHUTTER gives
total reliability and fast controllable response.
3. INTERCHANGEABLE reflector cartridge
system allows the system to be operated with either FOCUSED or
DEFOCUSED reflectors.
4. Unique removable COLD filter to
protect ultra-sensitive substrates available as a low cost
option.
5. Unique, slide out cassette system for
instant access to lamp, shutter and reflector making maintenance
simple. With a spare cassette, continuous production can
always be maintained.
6. Compact lamphead yet with double
skinned construction to keep the outer casing COOL.
7. Unique modular POWERBRICK
control cabinet that is easy to handle, takes minimum floor
space, can be stacked and allows single extensions of the system
at a later date.
8. Unique modular Varipower Control
Panel, with up to 22 automatic power levels for perfect
adjustment of UV ouput to match web speed without unnecessary
heat.
